The twist in the plot will wrap you up in the narrative and pull you closer to psychological thrill. This novel is capable of playing with your deepest and darkest secrets and spill them on the floor, leaving you vulnerable and hooked.

The story starts with a gory background of a psychotherapist; his childhood, his father-issues, his fears, his pain… Eventually, the narration moves on to the hero of the story — Alicia Berenson. She is admitted in a psychology care center named ‘The Grove’. The story revolves around the highs and the lows of psychotherapy of Alicia and making her talk after she fell silent post killing her husband. A Greek tragedy comes in the storyline as well — Alcestis.

In the end, the narrator is the killer, without killing anybody!

Please give it a read. It is a massive page-turner and I completed the book in 4 hours.
